Tunisia, the band, came to life on January 1, 2011. After parting ways with our previous group due to irreconcilable artistic and business differences, we set out with one clear intention: to build something better. Something sharper. Something that reflected the kind of performance experience we believed audiences truly deserved.

We didn’t deny our past—but we refused to be defined by it. A fresh start allowed us to pursue a bolder, more impactful vision. Fifteen years later, Tunisia continues to evolve. While the lineup has naturally changed over time, three founding members remain at the core. Every new musician who has joined us has raised the bar, adding depth, discipline, and fire to the band’s identity.

From the beginning, Tunisia set out to be different. In an industry where many groups rely on rotating players or treat performances like a paint-by-numbers exercise, we chose another path. We are a unified band—no substitutes, no shortcuts, no hiding behind tracks or click-and-go arrangements. We play and sing every part ourselves, fully live, fully committed. Our goal is simple: deliver a show with musicality, precision, and an undeniable “WOW” factor that hits from the first note to the last.

We always respect client input, but our setlist is intentionally curated and performed in a specific chronological flow. It’s designed to take audiences on a journey—a carefully crafted arc that builds energy, emotion, and momentum. Because of that, we ask that guests refrain from interrupting the performance. The experience works best when it’s allowed to breathe, move, and hit its marks exactly as intended.

Because too many bands settle.
Too many musicians walk on stage, stare into their iPads and charts, and shrug off a show with, “Yeah, that was good enough.”

But good enough is NOT good enough.
Not for me, and not for Tunisia.

If you’re looking for a band that just want's to “have fun,” "get paid," and play well enough to get people dancing, and call it a night, there are plenty of production bands where that mentality fits just fine.

With a synergy refined over years of performing together, Tunisia commands an expansive repertoire of more than 300 songs—from timeless classics by Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder to contemporary hits from Bruno Mars and Maroon 5, and rock anthems from Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Prince, and more. Their high-energy performances effortlessly span genres: Current Hits, Classic Rock, R&B, Disco, Motown, Hip-Hop, Jazz Standards, Swing, and beyond—ensuring every audience hears something they love.

While many bands are deeply entrenched in their own identities, it's essential for you, as a potential client, to understand what sets us apart. Tunisia is a musical spectacle, a live concert experience at your wedding – an unapologetically high-octane, electrifying performance from the very first note to the final encore.

We refuse to be labeled as mere "vendors"; instead, we see ourselves as honored guests at your event. We take immense pride in our dedication to preserving the authenticity of the music we play, staying true to our unique sound. If a song doesn't resonate with us or if we believe it strays too far from our artistic essence, we won't include it in our repertoire. Honesty is our guiding principle, and we'll openly communicate if a song request falls outside our artistic scope.

Unlike other bands, we don't offer background dinner music. We recognize that your event demands a vibrant, high-energy performance, not hours of background noise. We are not endurance athletes; we are sprinters, ready to ignite the stage with intensity.

You won't find any gimmicks, magic tricks, clownish antics, or additional performers tacked onto our contract. Our focus remains on delivering exceptional musical entertainment. There are no tricycle-riding monkeys, mascots, or acrobats – and absolutely no CHEESE! We don't invite guests to perform with the band, and you won't see us in Tuxedos (that's for the service staff). We are not the hired help; we are the main event.
